July 14 2018 The Santa Fe Fuego scored 15 runs across the fourth through eighth innings and defeated the Ruidoso Osos 21-5 at Fort Marcy Park. Santa Fe collected 23 hits while Ruidoso finished with 10.
Santa Fe took an early 2-0 lead in the first inning and added two runs in the third before breaking the game open with three runs in the fourth and nine in the sixth. The Fuego added one run in the seventh and four in the eighth. Ruidoso scored twice in the fifth and seventh innings before adding one run in the ninth.
Daniel Aldrich went 4-for-6 with five runs scored four RBI and two home runs.
Danny Beaver added four hits four runs and a home run while C. Kwitzer went 4-for-4 with six runs three RBI and a walk.
Mike Annone had two hits and three RBI and J. Smart drove in four runs. Santa Fe hit five home runs overall including two by Aldrich.
Johnny Flogal earned the win for Santa Fe after allowing eight hits and four earned runs in six innings. He walked five and struck out six.

Zach Hoffman worked a hitless eighth with three strikeouts.
Dylan Yankle took the loss for Ruidoso after surrendering 12 hits and 10 runs nine earned in five innings.
